IMPORTANT

We do not accept applications based on colour, sex, tail, eye colour etc. All applications are approved by an agreement by the adoptive family that they agree to AusDreaming’s pup selection process – which is set out below.

Our method of matching our puppies to the best suited family are not commonly used by other breeders, so please read the following carefully.

AusDreaming Kennels carries out the Volhard Temperament Test on each pup at the age of 6 weeks. From the results of this test we are able to ascertain what the temperament of the puppy will be now and in the future.

From these results, we then tell our approved applicants which of the pups best suit their application. So you could potentially choose from up to 4 pups, then the next suitable applicant would choose from 3, then 2, then the last suitable pup could be yours. We make every effort to have your preferred sex of pup, but we do not guarantee it.

If you agree to these terms, please sign below, then email your application to debbie@ausdreaming.com.au

We would like to thank you for taking the time to fill in this questionnaire. The idea behind these questions is that, knowing the pups temperament from day one, we may see different things in them than you would as a stranger attempting to pick one. In this way we may be better able to guide you toward a puppy which realistically suits your experience, needs and goals.

We make every effort to ensure that our puppies are free from any inherited defects, by screening our breeding stock for those problems common to our breed. However, due to complex genetic interactions and environmental factors beyond our control, we cannot guarantee that a puppy purchased from us will be completely free of genetic disorders. If, at any time, your Aussie is diagnosed with any health problems, genetic or otherwise, we must be notified immediately of the full details so that we can make every effort to help with the situation. Our puppies are adopted with a complete guarantee against monorchidism, cryptorchidism, Hip Dysplasia, Iris Coloboma, Cataracts or CEA (Collie Eye Anomoly).
